Registered Consulting Arborist, Billy Cook, is a Fighting Texas Aggie Class of 1997. He received his BS from Texas A&M in Urban Forestry, May 1998. Billy started with Preservation Tree directly out of college in 1998. Ever since have taken great pride in helping residential and commercial clients with the best of tree care practices. He specializes in the care of sick trees. ISA certified arborist TX-1151, since 98. Billy was the first in the first group of Arborists to be Texas Oak Wilt Certified, TOWC - 0016, ASCA - American Society of Consulting Arborists, Consulting Academy graduate in '99. He also served multiple terms on the board of directors for the Trinity Blacklands Urban Forestry Council.

Micah is a Registered Consulting Arborist, Professional Urban Forester, and ISA Certified Arborist with Preservation Tree, the Consulting Group (PTCG). He possesses a wealth of urban forestry and arboricultural knowledge and experience. He served as the Dallas Regional Urban Forester with the Texas Forest Service from 2009 through 2013. He also spent 5 years with the State of Florida Forest Service as the South Florida Cooperative Forestry Assistance Coordinator prior to moving to Dallas. Micah holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Natural Resource Management from The Ohio State University and a Master’s of Science in Forestry from the University of Maine. Micah also worked for the Peace Corps in Ecuador, South America providing a wide diversity of experiences and training. Micah is also the President-elect of Texas Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture (ISAT). Micah also serves on the Editorial Board for the American Society of Consulting Arborists (ASCA).
Micah works with clients to ensure they maximize the value of their trees. Micah focuses his efforts on tree preservation during both commercial and residential construction, Risk/Health Assessments, Tree Inventories, Tree Appraisals, as well as many other site-specific or client-defined evaluations. Micah is proud to have consulted with many DFW cities, such as Arlington, Irving, Mesquite, Plano, and most recently in 2016, the City of Denton to help them gain a better understanding of their trees in order to make better management decisions.

Daniel is a Registered Consulting Arborist at Preservation Tree Services, The Consulting Group. He grew up in northeastern Texas and worked in the the Green Industry before moving to the Front Range of Colorado in 2005 where he acquired a degree in Horticulture and a decade of field experience in commercial, municipal, and utility arboriculture. After earning several certifications, qualifications, and licenses within the tree care industry, he returned to North Central Texas in July of 2015 where he is studying business management and travels whenever possible with his family. Daniel’s pragmatic approach to applying available research and technology is how he works with his clients to transform their trees from potential liabilities into growing assets.
