Texas Women's Tree Climbing Workshop
October 27, 2017
For the first time in its history, the Texas chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture is holding a tree climbing workshop for women. Scheduled for November 17-19, the event will be open to women who have never climbed and to women who want to improve their climbing skills.
The multi-day workshop has been created by women for women. Heading up the hands-on instruction will be International Tree Climbing Championship competitors Bear LeVangie, Melissa LeVangie and Rebecca Seibel-Hunt. Between the three, they have over 40 years of experience in tree climbing. The event will be limited to 20 participants.
Preservation Tree is proud to be a sponsor of this event, which is being billed as a safe and positive environment for women to be inspired with a sense of accomplishment, learn new skills, polish existing techniques, enjoy the outdoors, and network with champions and fellow adventurers. Everything will be provided - lodging for three days and two nights, food, fun, equipment, and for good measure, yoga. All takes place near Spicewood, Texas.
This sure would make a wonderful gift for that special someone - maybe even yourself! If you're ready to take your professional tree climbing skills the to next level, you definitely don't want to miss this event!
