Wonderful job pruning our trees yesterday. I was so at ease while they were here as the crew was so professional and friendly. Also, my neighbor said she was very appreciative of the tree pruning being done so well. ” - Judee S.

Recycle Your Fresh Christmas Trees

If you made the choice to decorate with a fresh live Christmas tree this year, you’ll want to make sure you can recycle it once the holiday season comes to a close. You might be tempted to put your tree out on the curb - the city will take care of it, right? Well, actually, it will probably just end up in the landfill. One of the benefits of decorating with a live tree is that it's a green resource that can be recycled. Here in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, there are many locations to recycle your fresh Christmas tree! They’ll be chopped down into mulch for use throughout the city, keeping thousands of pounds of organic matter out of our city’s landfills. As mulch, they’ll help conserve moisture during the hot months of summer.

Be sure all of your non-organic material is removed, including tree stands, before you drop off your tree.
